The Tuf-Tite blue seal box fitting utilizes a polyethylene seal to create a watertight connection between pipe and the Tuf-Tite box. Tuf-Tite Box Fittings are comprised of specially formulated polyethylene that is highly chemical resistant. They are actually more corrosion resistant than the PVC pipe in which they’re used.
